Mahmooda mango (Vikarabad)

Mahmooda mango (often referred to as Mahmooda Vikarabad or Mahmood Vikarabad) is a premium table variety.
It is an old, indigenous (Desi) cultivar from the Telangana region of India, historically preserved by the Nizams of Hyderabad.
Small to medium-sized fruit with a distinctive ovate shape and light golden-yellow skin when fully ripe
Flesh is pale yellow, completely fibreless and exceptionally smooth — silky texture that dissolves on the palate
Flavour profile is phenomenally rich — deeply sweet, complex and robust, comparable in quality to Himayat, with high non-reducing sugar content confirmed in agricultural research
Extremely limited seasonal availability — once it's gone, it's gone until next year
